Zoe reached out to her local newspaper to see if it could figure out what the blob creature was. Personally I would have just sworn off tuna/canned goods for life, but I guess there's something to be said for practicality. The newspaper spoke with Dr. Hany Elsheikha, associate professor of veterinary parasitology at the University of Nottingham, who said it could be a form of juvenile crab.
In the meantime, Zoe also contacted Princes, who says it's investigating. What she doesn't want from the company? Any compensation — and especially not a lifetime supply of tuna. Considering that a can of Princes tuna is where she found the critter, can you really blame her?
