Cooking Beef Tenderloin with Pepper-Wine Roast Receipt

Cooking beef tenderloin can be in various ways. Tenderloin is the gold standard of beef cuts. It is so tender, versatile, and very simple and easy to cook. In fact, beef tenderloin is so popular and expensive as well. However, the good news is the butcher usually will trim the tenderloin. Therefore, it will only remain the tender meat that mean you only need to buy as much as you need to cook. Among many ways to cook tenderloin, pepper-wine beef tenderloin roast is the most special dish that deserve to your special moment.
You need to clean the tenderloin before beef tenderloin before use it. If you see beef tenderloin, you usually see its silver skin and fat. Silver skin is a silvery-white connective tissue. It connected tissues. As you do not need it, you should trim it. If the silver skin is not trimmed off, it causes beef tenderloin to curl up when it is being roasted. It also does not dissolve when beef tenderloin is cooked. Thus, it needs to be trimmed away.
You need to truss the beef tenderloin. After trimming process, you will not find any structure and start to flatten out. As you want the meat is round as possible to help you in cooking and look great in presentation, trussing the beef tenderloin is the way. You do not need to tie it up very tight. You only need to maintain its round shape equally. However, you need to tie the beef tenderloin firmly to avoid it loses its shape of the proper cooking beef tenderloin.
Searing the beef tenderloin is the following step. Searing is aimed to brown the meat’s proteins and sugar, and you will have enhancing meat’s flavor. When searing, you need to pat the beef dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with coarse salt and lightly oil outside of the roast. You do not need too long in searing the beef. It is just about 3 rotations or 1 minute.

Make sure you have preheated the oven before roasting process. You need to preheat the oven to 450 degree F. Tenderloin is best roasted at high heat than baked at lower temperature. The browning will bring the flavor. In roasting, you will need a large pan or put the beef. Roast it in oven for about 20 to 40 minutes in medium 130 degree F in order to get best cooking beef tenderloin. For the last touch, pour red wine into the baking or roasting pan as sauce.
